Good morning, world. Things are looking pretty good from the front porch of my farm in Virginia today. The rain has ceased…at least for now…and the fields are greener than ever. At this very moment, I know that there are seeds germinating and ready to sprout and there are bird eggs being tended to in preparation for their hatching. Even though I can’t see these things, I know the order of God and am confident of the miracles taking place behind the scenes. The deer are bedded down in their “forest” across from the front porch and although I can only see a few, I know there are more. We’re approaching the time of year for them to give birth and soon we’ll see the spotted ones. As I sat marveling at the Work of His Hands, I considered how sad it is that so many people only trust in what they see, and what they can’t…they don’t. As surely as the fields exist beyond the rain or the fog at the farm, His Truth…His Plans…His Wonder…His Majesty…His Love…His Might..is there even when we can’t see it with the human eye too. What an Amazing God I serve that would use a morning after the rain to drive home the message for my Heart this morning.

It’s human nature to long to see life in black & white written instructions, but the Treasures come from places we can’t see. Most people want “proof” before they’re willing to take a giant step in any direction – but the Proof is in the Heavens where all Plans are made. Lots of people begin to question what is beyond the fog in the “lower fields” of Life, and they lose all the Joy and Peace that comes with Relying on the Heart and not their own intellect when they do. God has Plans for us too wonderful to even begin Imagine…Plans beyond the rain and hidden things of nature. His Word says – “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love Him.” Sometimes I TRY to imagine my Future, but I know that all the beautiful images I conjure up in my mind don’t hold a candle to what He has for me. When you look at it that way, who would ever long to see life in black & white detail when the Treasures too beautiful to imagine are just beyond the fog? This is the key to Peace and Joy.

We don’t see beyond the fields with our eyes – we see it with the Heart instead…a Heart so Inclined toward the Living God that when He Speaks we listen – even though we can’t see Him with the human eye. The Heart is like a Heavenly transmitter – what is received From Him begins in the Heart and then it reaches every part of the rest of us. When we Live with the Heart we do things we never thought we could do because we know that “I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me Strength.” When we Live with the Heart, Love, and Compassion overflow and the Light of our Faith becomes so Bright that it blots out all the dark around us. When we Live with the Heart, we just “know that we know” even when the things we see with the eyes make no sense at all to the human mind. God speaks to the Heart of man…His Perfect Form of Communication…and although I don’t presume to know His mind, I know He Has Great plans for me beyond the fog! This is the key to Excitement through the Journey called Life.

I don’t rely much on what I can see with my eyes because I Trust and Believe and I KNOW what I can’t see is so much more beautiful than what I can see. Sometimes when He opens the Curtain just a little tiny bit to give me a glimpse of what’s there, it leaves me speechless…sometimes I shout with Joy…sometimes I weep with Gratitude..sometimes I get lost in Praise – but ALL the time my Heart is inclined toward Him…all the Time it makes my Light shine brighter just for Him….all the time it inspires me to Share what I have with the world. The God who leaves me speechless has Plans too beautiful for my human mind to comprehend.
