Make A Mess In Jesus’ Name!

Good morning, world. Things are looking pretty good from the front porch of my farm in Virginia today. Spring is definitely in the air and it won’t be long before I can spend my early mornings outside where I belong. I stepped into the Presence of the Most High God and I poured out everything in my Heart – the good things I thanked Him for and the “bad” things I repented of so that there is nothing between me and Him. I opened my Instruction Manual and found Truth that I’d never seen before and I picked up some more Wisdom for the Journey. I don’t know what God has in store for me on this new day, but I DO know that I’ll be ready for whatever it is. No doubt I’ll be leaving my Soul Print on everyone and everything around me and I’ll be making a “mess” in Jesus’ name all day long. I was born for such a time as this! Isn’t that the way you see your Journey of Faith too?

It’s not hard to tell where a child has been because they usually leave a trail of fingerprints on everything within their reach. They scatter their prints on all the appliances and they touch walls as if they’re being held up by them. And when they’re older, they leave fingerprints on the door jams just because they are tall enough to reach them. Kids make the most beautiful messes and if only we understood how short our time with them is, and how fast they grow up, we wouldn’t complain about having to clean up after them nearly as much as we do.

Each one of us is born with unique fingerprints that set us apart from the rest of the world AND we each have a unique Soul Print that only God can identify. He Knows each one by name because He Created each one. There are great things in store for those who Follow Him and horrific things in store for those who don’t. When we make the Decision to Follow Jesus, He expects us to go out and leave our Soul Print on everyone we possibly can. You can always tell where a child has been by the trail of fingerprints they leave behind on every surface they can reach AND you can always tell where a Child of the Living God has been too. We leave Soul Prints on everyone God puts in our Path that cannot be “wiped off”, and because our Journey is eternal, we set out to make a “mess” in Jesus’ Name every day of our lives. This is the Key to living out our Calling.

I’m a unique woman Created by an Amazing God. When He came calling for me I followed. Nothing about me is like anyone else ever born. I have a unique set of fingerprints that can identify me from the rest of the world, but more than that, I have a Unique Soul Print too. It’s my Goal to leave a “mess” in Jesus’ Name so that the world can see Him even after I’m gone. My Soul Print should linger through Eternity and nobody’s going to be cleaning them up. When I leave Soulprint it makes my Father happy and when I meet Him, I pray He’ll look at the Mess I’ve made on this earth and say “Well done, good and faithful servant”.

How about you?

Are you making a “mess” in Jesus’ name or is your Journey undetectable in this dark world?
