The Right Heart To Make A Difference…

Good morning, world. Things are looking pretty good from the front porch of my farm in Virginia today. There are no words to describe the beauty of this new day, and no words to define my Heart. His Word says “Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth” so I’ll be taking what my heart feels and putting it to Good Work on this new day. Every Word I speak today will be inspired by Him, and the Goal of every Action I take is that it will be sprinkled Truth and Love. THAT’S why the morning Time with the One who died for me is the most Important part of my day. Being inspired by the beauty around me is one thing – being Inspired to take Action and walk in Truth and Love after I leave the front porch no matter what I feel and who I encounter is an entirely different story. It takes the Right Heart to make a Difference in this Life, and it takes Readiness to have an Impact…the Balance of these things is only made possible with the help of a Mighty God. Isn’t that the way you look at your Purpose too?

God has equipped me well for my Journey…the same as He will for anybody else who is willing to ask for Him to. It takes Humility and an eager Heart (and a whole lot of guts) to ask God to “use me” because we know that when we do He’ll need to do a lot of Preparation Work to make the Willing Heart usable for Him. He has given me Wisdom beyond understanding because I asked for it, and I Believed it would come because He said it will. His Word says “if any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you” …I asked…I Believed…He answered. The Wisdom that flows through me can only be credited to Him…it’s supernatural and sprinkled with Truth and Love. Wisdom is a priceless Gift and it can be had by anybody who asks for it – yet few people do because wisdom isn’t on their Priority List of Requests. Solomon could have asked God for anything in the world, but he asked for Wisdom. Not only did Solomon receive supernatural wisdom that transformed a child into a respected king (and one like no other) but he received wealth and honor too all BECAUSE he was humble enough to ask for Wisdom instead of money and power. Wisdom guided me to raise an amazing, godly family of four – no easy task for a single mom. Wisdom has led the way to minister to countless people during countless trials, and I always know what to say and what to do…all because of God-given Wisdom. Wisdom will lead the way to success, and wisdom will help us avoid disaster. Wisdom makes me Strong and it Readies me to Impact Lives… and it’s a Part of me all because I asked for it. When you look at it that way, who wouldn’t be willing to ask for Wisdom?

Along with the Gift of Wisdom, God has given me words. Sometimes I’m in awe of the words He gives to me and sometimes they flow so freely that I’m not even aware of what I’m speaking at all. The threading together of just the right Words is a supernatural, God-given Gift to me and they’re always sprinkled with Truth and Love because of it. The Bible says, “The Holy Spirit will give you the words to say at the moment when you need them” so how could I ever be lost for words if I Believe what He teaches me? I need Wisdom to use (and to choose) my words Wisely and I need Strength to speak them even when it’s not easy. No matter where I am, or who I’m with, and no matter the circumstances, I’ll always have the words to use because they are a Gift to me from God Almighty. But along with that Gift comes to Responsibility to use my Words for Good and not for my own gain…and that’s where the Wisdom comes into play again.

My Gifts might be a little different than the rest of the world but that should come as no surprise. I have my own unique set of fingerprints AND I have a unique Soul Print too…and so do you. I ASKED Him for Wisdom and I ASKED Him to reveal my Gifts and to put me to Work…and He did…and He’ll put you to Work too IF you Trust Him. All it takes for any of us to Shine like the Stars and to be molded into a Vessel that can have an Everlasting Impact on the world is a Willing and Humble Heart, a genuine Request to “USE ME” and an understanding of the full Arsenal of Tools ready and waiting to be used…when we’re Ready to be used by God. It took a LOT of Work to Refine me for my Purpose but now I am a Usable Vessel for the King of all kings. There is no greater honor than that.

How about you?
