This is my Mom – she would have been 89 years old today. She was only 17 when this picture was taken, and she’d already had a VERY rough journey…but nothing compared to what was yet to come. Years and years of trials and torment and LOTS of it carried over onto us. That’s the bad news…BUT the GOOD NEWS is that she eventually found Jesus, and when she did, she was a WHOLE NEW CREATURE in Christ! When she died, we nixed the funeral and celebrated her life instead! When you’re born twice and die once, you have a whole lot to Celebrate, Amen?
