I’m forever amazed at how God Works in mysterious ways.  I’ve always been pretty bold in my Faith; never ashamed to speak up.  And I’ve (almost) always been a writer.  But God surprised me as I was launching a Facebook site for my business and I was struggling to have a “theme” that would cause others to relate to me.  Since I launched the site with my business in mind, I didn’t want to plaster it with pictures of my family and I didn’t want to put my grandchildren “out there”.  I didn’t want to write about recipes or pets or politics; although I could easily write about them all!

One February morning I was admiring the snow covering the fields of my farm in Virginia and I snapped a photo of the American flag proudly flying on my front porch. The contrast between the snow and the flag was magnificent.  As I sat down to share what I saw through the eyes of God with this photo as my “backdrop”; the Words flowed with a Spiritual message that surprised even me.  I almost didn’t post it when I considered the length of the post, but God had other Plans and He’s never short for Words.  So….these Front Porch inspirational posts were born in February of 2015 and they’ve been a part of my virtual world ever since.  Isn’t that just the way God works?
